Jaywick Local history Society was formed in 2007 with the intention to not only record the history of our community but to encourage local people to share their personal recollections of past events. As well as regular meetings, usually held in Golf Green Hall, we organise several history oriented outings in the county and are committed to researching things which have happened locally but are now either forgotten or are not generally known about.
Membership is £5 per annum which includes admission to meetings with refreshments. Casual visits from non-members are welcome and cost £1 per event.
